    State of the Vision Meeting Held; Individuals Recognized

    The Crawford: 20/20 Vision Project recently held a combination planning and review session combined with an event to honor project participants. Media was not invited to the event, however this afternoon we received a press release detailing the individuals and groups recognized. This press release follows.

    The tireless work that is needed to improve a community often goes unnoticed. On Monday, January 24, the Crawford: 20/20 Vision recognized community leaders for their efforts to move Crawford County forward in a positive direction.

    During the first ever State of the Vision meeting at Victory in Truth Ministries, 6 individuals were honored for their efforts in carrying out the Crawford: 20/20 Vision plan, which is a product of input from members of the Crawford County community.     March 6 Primary Voter Deadlines

    This press release was issued today by the office of the Ohio Secretary of State. It includes important deadlines that pertain to Galion and Crawford County voters.

    Secretary of State Jon Husted is reminding all Ohioans planning to participate in the March 6 Presidential Primary Election of some key upcoming dates and deadlines.

    Absentee Voting by Mail
    Starting tomorrow – January 31, 2012 – Ohio’s 88 county boards of elections will begin mailing absentee ballots to voters who have already requested to vote by mail in the March 6 Primary Election.

    Those who haven’t yet requested an absentee ballot may submit their requests in writing to their county board of elections no later than noon on March 3, 2012. *Note an absentee ballot request form, which can easily be downloaded … Read the rest
