The Galion Board of Education and Superintendent sit on the stage of the Galion Middle School Cafetorium during the honors presentations at the start of Thursday's Board Meeting.

Coaches voting at Norwalk High School have chosen the OHSAA District 6 All-District team in boys’ basketball, and two GHS players were among those selected for the honor.

Galion senior Marc McCuen and sophomore Ridge Durbin were both recognized with Honorable Mention honors.

The coach of the year was Lexington High School’s Jamie Feick.

Meanwhile, GHS will be represented at the State Wrestling Tournament this year by Zac Tupps and Dan Renner. The tournament itself, which begins on March 1, will feature 672 wrestlers representing 300 Ohio high schools. It is being held at the Schottenstein Center on the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus.
