    After sharing a quick look at the “why” of GalionLive!, here’s a quick take on what it is – and, better yet, what’s likely to become in the near future.

    First of all, its important to know that GalionLive! is not, nor will it ever be, located at only one place on the World Wide Web. Rather, it is designed as an inter-connected set of sites on multiple platforms.     Seven Months Later

    First in a two-part series.

    Seven months ago, GalionLive! arrived on the scene. In that time, there have been a few hiccups with the site – most notably the stretch where the hosting company “ate” content and the entire GalionLive! experience had to be re-built – but the horizon now looks bright for this unique experiment in local online social media.

    Recently a friend relayed an anecdote about a conversation she had overheard. Members of a local organization had run across GalionLive!, enjoyed a particular post, and were openly speculating who might have authored it. This came as a bit of a surprise to me.
