GalionLive! took the chance to visit opening night of the Galion Community Theatre’s 25th Anniversary Production – Cole Porter’s wonderful “Anything Goes.”

The evening began with a short review of GCT’s 25 years of performances, which began in 1984 with a production of “The Sound of Music.” Soon, however, Maestro Brian Treisch struck up the pit orchestra and the curtain rose to reveal three decks of a ship setting sail for England with a truly unique set of passengers on board. Anything Goes is chock full of Porter favorites, including “You’re the Top,” “Is Delovely,” “I Get a Kick Out of You,” and the signature tune, “Anything Goes.”
