Paranormal tours, that is, as in the twice-monthly “Evening With the Browns,” held for the sixth time this past Saturday at Brownella Cottage.

Just before the most recent tour, GalionLive checked in with Galion Historical Society Executive Director Amber Wertman to see how the experience has been working. This past weekend’s edition was the fifth in a series of tours hosted by the Galion Historical Society with the assistance of Dr. John D. Gruber of Columbus. On each occasion, between 7 to 12 individuals have taken the opportunity to undertake a “hands-on” adventure and to gain a first-hand opinion on whether or not the historic house is haunted.

As many Galionites know, our own Brownella Cottage takes center stage nationally at 10:00 p.m. this evening (Saturday) as The Biography Channel’s “My Ghost Story” considers the house’s haunted history. The program will air locally on Channel 140 for those with Time Warner Digital Cable.
